What is SEO?
SEO
Search Engine Optimization are strategies and tactics undertaken to influence the rankings of web pages in the search engines.
Backlinks:
Backlinks are references to your website sitting on someone elses website. The value of this backlinking lies in the fact that search engines use the number - and quality - of backlinks to your site to effectively rank your websites importance. Backlinking is probably the most effective tool in getting your site to ranking higher in the search engines.
Keyword
a word or phrase that a search engine user might use to find relevant web page. If a keyword does not appear anywhere in the text of your web page, it is highly unlikely your page will appear in the search results (unless of course you have bid on that keyword in a pay-per-click search engine).
Meta Tag Optimization
Meta tag optimization is one of the keystones for gaining a top ranked web site. Though the value of creating meta tags has been diminished by some search engines, mainly Google - as noted in Meta Tag Optimization - there is still value in creating them. IMC are experts at creating excellent, focused meta tags, that when combined with other SEO techniques, will boost your web site to the top of the search engine rankings.
Initial Keyword Analysis:
At amBiz Creative we will review your website and contact you with an analysis of key phrases that will best benefit the of your products or services. After review a final keyword list of approximately 120 keywords will be developed for your package.
Blog Site
We write a press release and submit to your blog which is a separate domain name. We will write article from 500 to 1000 words that will become worthy of being linked to and generate traffic to your website. Each site we submit you to will be relevant to topic and linked back to your website to increase link popularity.
Links:
Text or graphics that, when clicked on, take the Internet user to another web page location. Links are expressed as URLs
Link Popularity:
When other web sites link to your site, your site will rank better in certain search engines. The more web pages that link to you, the better your link popularity.
Meta Tags:
An optional HTML tag that is used to specify information about a Web page. Some search engines read the information contained within the tag and use it to index the page. There are several meta tags, but the most important for search engine indexing are the Description and Keywords tags. The Description tag returns a description of the page in place of the summary the search engine would ordinarily create. The Keywords tag provides keywords for the search engine to associate with your page.
eCommerce:
Electronic commerce is the buying and selling products and services via the Internet. We power all of our e-commerce sites using osCommerce with a merchant bank account. We do not use PayPal and will not use PayPal.
Hosting:
Every Web site is stored on a computer–called a server–that is then connected to the Web. When your site is stored on one of these servers, your site is being hosted by the server. At amBiz Creative, we do all of our own web hosting. We build all of our computers that we use in the office from scratch, including our servers.
URL:
Uniform Resource Locator: This is your websites address, for example www.yourwebsite.com is a URL, its how people find your site on the World Wide Web.
